Chris Brown Claims Stores Are Blackballing “Graffiti”

Graffiti was released Dec. 8th (just 15 days after Rihanna’s “Rated R” release).  I personally was excited to see Chris Brown’s comeback and to hear the album, although I did have my opinion that it may have been too soon.  Chris may be feeling that very same way right about now!  According to Rolling Stone, Chris is projected to to land at Number Three on the Billboard Top 200 this week with sales of 95,000-110,000 albums, per Billboard.  His last album, Exclusive, moved 294,000 copies its debut week in 2007.  That is a major difference. Lets see what CB had to say.

He used his Twitter account to vent throughout last week and shouting out his real fans that have supported him.  He has recently shut down his Twitter @mechanicaldummy thanks to his trip to the Wallingford, CT Wal-Mart where he witnessed himself his album not being on the shelf. This is what he had to say: “JUST WAS AT WALMART IN wallingford CT,844 north colony.. the didnt even have my album in the back… not on shelves, saw for myself…we talked to the managers and the didnt even know anything. wow!!! but they had Alicia Keys album ready for release for this tuesday comin…no disprespect to alicia at all.. just givin an example to whos album is loaded and ready to go next week.”

Apparently the store has released a statement in response to Chris’s actions online:

“We are surprised at the comments online, all Walmart stores nationwide have carried the CD since its release, including the Wallingford, [Conn.], store mentioned in the post. This store actually sold through its initial shipment over the weekend. The majority of our stores today are showing they do have copies available.”

His last words for Twitter before he mysteriously deleted his account were: “I WANNA THANK MY FANS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT. I LOVE YALL. GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Enough tough love people…everybody deserves a second chance! I have Chris and Rihanna’s album and they are both on my Top 10 played right now. WE LOVE YOU CHRIS!

What advice do you have for Chris right now?
