Rumors are the biggest issues right now with this entire case. Everybody wants to know what happened and everything under the sun has been assumed. We all know you can’t assume what you don’t know. With that being said, a few of the many rumors are that Rihanna gave Chris Brown herpes; another is that Chris Brown left the party to be with another woman and Rihanna knew about it and started an argument. Most recently their saying that another female did have something to do with it, in regards to a phone calll from a female Rihanna doesn’t like or “booty call” text message that Rihanna saw. However, I think this is all ridiculous and doesn’t justify anything. Until I hear from the sources mouth, meaning Chris or Rihanna, then I’ll make further allegations.

However, Chris Brown and Rihanna’s careers have both been impacted by this incident at this point.  Brown has already been suspended from his Wrigley Doublemint Gum campaign earlier this week. He has been dumped for Valentine’s Day according to TMZ, Brown was set to host two separate parties in Scottsdale, Arizona this weekend for the NBA All-Star festivities and has now been replaced by rapper Nelly. “Got Milk” has also released a statement in regards to Brown’s arrest and allegations:

“The Milk Mustache campaign is taking the allegations against Chris Brown very seriously. We are very proud and protective of the image of the Milk Mustache campaign and the responsible message it sends to teens. Mr. Brown’s ad was launched last fall and is scheduled to end this week.” Source: TMZ

On Tuesday, EW.com reported that “Sesame Street” said it was dropping all future re-broadcasts of Brown’s August 13, 2007, appearance on the show singing a song ”See the Signs” with Elmo and teaching some dance moves.

According to Cleveland Plain Dealer, WAKS FM 96.5 in Cleveland announced that they pulled C. Breezy records from their on-air playlist until further notice.

After the alleged incident the phones exploded,” WAKS nighttime DJ Java Joel said in a press release. “It’s all that people wanted to talk about. They were outraged at this alleged behavior and wondered why we were continuing to support his music. I agreed and immediately pulled all Chris Brown songs from my show until this thing shakes out in the legal system.”

Station program director Bo Matthews of 96.5 kiss FM reportedly decided to pull Brown’s music off the station entirely until this boils over.  “It appears that Chris has made some poor choices, we are following the lead of our listeners, and we will not be supporting Chris Brown on 96.5 Kiss FM in Cleveland until the alleged situation gets resolved,” Matthews said.

Rihanna, who is doing “fine”, according to her grandmother, and “doesn’t have a broken nose” that has been previously reported; RiRi has canceled her Thursday performance in Jakarta, Indonesia, People.com reported.  On Tuesday the singer postponed a concert that was to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Friday.  Promoter Pineapple Concerts says that the Malaysia show has been rescheduled for an unannounced future date. Celebrities are shocked and some very upset of what has happened, whether their in either singers’ defense.  T.I. told Carson Daly that he’s spoken with Chris since the incident and he said, “I spoke to him today. He’s cool, you know. He’s a little concerned about the situation, but he’s still the same Chris. I told him, ‘This too shall pass,’” the rapper said.

T.I. has been set to serve time in jail in March said, ” we’re celebrities, we’re entertainers, but we’re still human—all of us. Don’t expect us not to make mistakes, because we will.”

The “Love Lockdown” rapper, Kanye West appeared on the Ryan Seacrest’s 102.7 KIIS FM radio show on Tuesday. He said he is “devastated” by reports.

“[Rihanna] has the potential to be the greatest artist of all time and, in that sense, I feel like that’s my baby sis and I would do any and everything to help her in any situation,” said West.  “It should never come to that place,” he told Seacrest.

via eonline.comIt has been said that this is not the first time Chris and Rihanna have gotten into it physically. Rihanna has stated that she and her brother used to fight and she hit one of them with a glass bottle upside the head. Chris should have watched his back from the jump!

Jay-Z is another one of several other celebrities that had a lot to say and different opinions on Chris and Rihanna’s alleged incident.

Jigga said, “It’s not a sound byte, this is a real situation. You have to have compassion for others. Just imagine it being your sister or mom and then think about how we should talk about that.”

In addition to commented on RiRi, “I just think we should all support her. She’s going through a tough time. You have to realize she’s a young girl, as well. She’s very young.”

According to Bossip, Jay-Z apparently had more to say and alleged stated, “Chris is a walking dead man. He messed with the wrong crew.”

Actor Terrence Howard told Hollywood.tv that the alleged attack was, “just life man. Chris is a great guy. He’ll be all right. Rihanna knows he loves her. They’ll be alright. Everyone has just got to get out of their way.”

He later retracted his statement, saying that had he known what Brown was accused of, he never would have said anything so “insensitive.”

Chris Brown has been silent and that’s what worries everyone that his career will fail. Chris stated that he and Rihanna had offically broken up at a meeting he called for close friends and family in L.A, although Rihanna’s dad seems to worry that she won’t leave him.

Rihanna has broken her silence and came out of hiding Thursday before her birthday she was spotted at an L.A. airport.

I still can’t believe this picture is real, at least not 100%

On Friday (her 21st birthday), Rihanna released a statement via her spokesperson:

“At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”

Chris has also released a statement about what occured, ” Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writing under my name are frauds.”

Family and friends of both singers have been making statements all over radio stations and in magazines about how they feel about the incident. A friend of Rihannas’ told Us, “I mean, damn, her eye’s black and the sides of her face are all f—-d up,” the friend told Us. “But she keeps saying she still loves him.”

“She hums sometimes, but she’s more quiet than I’ve ever seen her,”

Rihanna visited a hospital the Friday five days after the incident between the two. “It was because of the endless headaches she’s been having since Chris hit her,” the friend said.

“The doctors were concerned about the contusions on the sides of her head.”

Recently, Chris Brown’s stepfather called in to IPower 92FM to clear up rumors of his abusive past. He claims that he never put hands on Chris’s mother Joyce and that the story was fabricated. He also described Chris as an angry and hyper child. Later, Chris’s aunt was very upset with his stepfather for going on national television and told lies for money. His aunt stated:

On Chris Brown:

“He isn’t worried about the endorsement deals or the fame. That doesn’t phase him. That’s not the problem. It’s just him being made out to be a monster that he’s not. That bothers him more than anything else.”

On keeping quiet at this point:

“Politics are Politics and no one is allowed to say this or that but I am just sick of everything. You know the kid is being killed. He’s still a kid and he’s not a bad person at all. Chris is a very loving person to everyone that knows him. Everybody makes mistakes. He would never attack anyone just because. And he doesn’t justify what he did but he would never [inaudible] I think of him as my kid (starts crying) Everyone is killing this kid and he is devastated. No one knows his story. He can’t speak his story because of political bullshit but they will bring out his story probably today or tomorrow. We are not trying to bash Rihanna or anyone but they are two kids in a relationship and things happen. It’s totally one sided…”

“He’s very passive of someone ridiculing him or doing something. He’ll sit back and sit back but a person will only sit back for so long when someone is doing something to him. It’s always two sides to a story and just know that Chris Brown would never attack anyone for no reason. It doesn’t justify anybody doing anything but it’s a one sided story. Every day it’s a new lie. There is something different added to the story that makes no sense at all. [Like the herpes situation] That is just totally crazy that makes no sense and we don’t even know where that came from. Someone obviously made that up and it had nothing to do with anything. That is so false. It’s just really killing me that the media circus is killing everything that he’s worked so hard for.”

All Updates on Chris Brown and Rihanna: What was so good, gone bad!

I’m sure by now the world is as shocked and appalled as I am. R&B singer Chris Brown was held under investigation last night for alleged assault charges. E! Reported that Chris Brown nor Rihanna would be making appearances at the awards. They both were scheduled to perform at the event and had to be replaced at the last minute by Justin Timberlake, Boyz II Men, and Al Green did a great job at filling in.

normal_1632

Looks like he was in a good mood just hours before. What made him snap?

Sources said he was being investigated by the LAPD for assault charges on a female. (Yea you’re proabably thinking what I’m thinking, no way not Chris!) According to the police, Chris and the unidentified female were arguring in a vehicle and things escaladed, and what was just verbal got kind of physical. This all took place at 12:30 am Saturday night, not long after leaving Clive Davis’ party. Chris pulled over in a neighborhood just blocks away from the hotel in which they were staying. A neighborhood by the name of Hancock Park; an eyewitness said the female was making all kinds of noise screaming and crying to get her point across. (At the hospital in her room while detectives interviewed her) From my understanding after hearing some rucus, the witness called the police, then coming to the scene Rihanna was questioned and CB was identified as her attacker. Police said the female had visible injuries. When the police arrived Chris had already left the scene on foot. Later the injuries surfaced as bite marks on her arm, several facial markings, and a contusion to the head. In the beginning no one knew who the victim was until later it was said to be Rihanna for sure.

rihanna3

The police set out to speak with Chris and looked to arrest him if and when they find him. At about 6:30 pm Sunday evening Chris turned himself in to a LAPD police station. Chris is being investigated by the LAPD for an alleged domestic violence felony battery that occurred early this morning near Hancock Park. The police refused to identify the female, but Chris was being interviewed by detectives. Chris Brown has been booked into the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department. He was driven to the station by high-powered attorney Mark Geragos, which was Michael Jackson’s attorney in the past. Brown has been charged with one count felony criminal threats. His bail has been set at $50,000. He is still being investigated for a possible battery. Two hours later he paid his bail and was released. Given there were allegedly visible injuries, the crime of making criminal threats is punishable by up to nine years in prison. Domestic abuse is four years.

The allegation is that Rihanna, the confirmed victim, was assaulted with a deadly weapon. However, there was no weapon found in the vehicle, only an umbrella. The police report cites Penal Code Section 245 — Assault with a Deadly Weapon. However, once again TMZ was told there was no weapon involved.

Chris rented the silver Lamborghini from an exotic car boutique in L.A. called Platinum Motorsport and until he can get the car back to the business, Chris is gonna have to pay $2,000 a day.  Currently, the car is behind a chain-link fence in a police impound lot with no official ETA on when it will be released. Wrigley announced today they are suspending its ad campaign for Doublemint gum featuring Chris Brown.

Wrigley quoted in a statement, “We have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”

The company will go as far as dropping him completely, but they believe in fair chance. Wrigley says Brown should be, “afforded the same due process as any citizen.”

According to TMZ, law enforcements say that Rihanna’s injuries were severe, having two “huge contusions” which swelled up on both sides of her forehead. We’re told she also she suffered “a bloody lip and nose.” One law enforcement said the contusions “look like an MMA fighter or something … [It] looked like she was growing devil’s horns.”

cbwebuigocbarrestxr4

She may have also suffered bite wounds on her legs and arms according to a source, which is crazy right, sounds like she may have been running from a dog! (And I’m not trying to be funny) According to TMZ a source close said they highly doubt that. This is all to unreal….

cbweb-uilong-x17release

Chris Brown has been booked on a felony criminal threats charge. If the D.A. files the case, domestic violence charges could be added. March 15th is the court date.

Of course the celebration Sunday wasn’t over just like that before Wednesday’s full schedule of work. All gathered together to hon0r Presdient-Elect Barack Obama as he was sworn in office now as President Obama. But oh n0 not just A-list celebrities, we as the people of the United States of America united as one to honor this man. Some little birdies informed WhoGossips on the inside scoop and how the atmosphere was beautiful and so full of energy. It’s amazing how so many people of so many races gathered and huddled in Washington D.C. in freezing temperatures, in which no one was arrested or injured. There was an incident that happened, in which an older lady fell in front of the metro while waiting. It has been reported that she is doing fine and nothing serious had taken place there after.

Obama Inauguration

The theme of this inauguration was “A New Birth of Freedom” , which was a dedication to the 200th anniversary 0f Abraham Lincoln’s birth.

Where:  Washington D.C.,  on the west front of the U.S. Capitol overlooking the National monuments.

Time: 12 noon

When: January 20, 2009

He attended Parsons: The New School for Design where he interned with Narciso Rodriguez. He debuted his first full collection in 2006 and in 2008 he received the Fashion Group International Rising Star award in 2008.   He has designed clothes for celebrities who include Kerry Washington, Joy Bryant, and Leighton Meister.” (Source and words: http://www.shallownation.com/2009/01/21/michelle-obama-dress-inaugural-ball-photos-video-jason-wu-inaugural-gown/)

Amongst other designers, Michelle Obama has given them recognition and something to show for. Her inaugural ensemble was designed by Isabel Toledo, a Cuban-American designer. Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Washington DC at the Lincoln Memorial, celebrities gathered to celebrate the beginning of history in the making. Although, the journey started almost 2 years ago when President-Elect Barack Obama started this campaign and succeeded thus far since November 4, 2008. He will now be swarn into office this Tuesday, January 20, 2009 with the support of the American people (notice I did say American People) also support from his lovely wife, Michelle Obama, and children, 10-year old Malia and 7-year old Sasha, and many others. Vice President-Elect Joe Biden was alongside his wife Jill Biden as they celebrated the renewal of this nation.

The families sat to the sideline as they watched proudly so many speeches and performances made by some of the best of all time. From comedians, to actors/actresses, or musicians/singers. This was indeed a time to remember. You can watch and celebrate this moment on HBO most likely this rest of this week. Celebrities from Beyonce’, Jamie Foxx, Denzel Washington, U2, Stevie Wonder, Usher, Shakira, Sheryl Crow, Wil.i.am, Queen Latifah, and so many more came out.

The crowd was huge and anticipating every moment from the entrance of the presidency party themselves, to the opening performance of Springsteen, Obama and Biden both speaking, and the end as Beyonce showcased “America The Beautiful”. Even the unexpected impression of Obama’s speech on election night from Jamie Fox; Obama just laughed. He being the fool that he is and always no shame in his game, urged “Chi-town to stand up”, having the family rise to their feet, clapping and laughing. 2008 American Music Awards: Winners, Performances, Press Room, Backstage, Audience, and Red Carpet Glam

Posted in Awards Shows/Events, Red Carpet Glam!!!, TV Performances, Uncategorized with tags on November 25, 2008 by shaesawriter

The 2008 American Music Awards has to be one of the best award shows, but simply because it represents just what I represent, diversity! Might I add that they’ve done a great job at doing just that. The AMAs aired yesterday on ABC at 8pm. I was shocked to see that it was 3 hours long. Most only last no longer than 2 and maybe 15 minutes then they carry on to the post show. Much kudos to the staff or anyone that had anything to do with putting this years’ show together. Out of the 19 performances, I have my favorite or those that I felt were better than others. There were several appearances last night and a great amount of proud award winners. Performances included artists like Taylor Swift, Pink, Christina Aguilera opened, Kanye West closed, Beyonce, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Miley Cyrus, and many more.

    Queen Latifah

    Queen Latifah

U-N-I-T-Y! Queen Latifah did her thing as a surprise performer alongside Alicia Keys “Superwoman”. I don’t remember the last time I saw Queen perform or even rap and sing for that matter! That was real cool.

Mariah and Nick are beautiful and she performed as well, Nick excorted her on stage and reached to kiss her hand and she snatched away jokingly.

Her performance was a little confusing to me and I was a little disappointed mostly because she didn’t perform my song “Angel”, but overall it was a good performance.

Rihanna did her thing! I loved it, but I was looking for Justin Timberlake to come out at any time! I can definitely relate to the lyrics to “Rehab” as well. Hearing her sing it live was even better….

    Kanye West

Kanye’s performance was different and colorful!

I’m sure everybody knows by now that Jennifer’s mom and brother were murdered on October 24th and found dead in their Chicago home. Days after, Jennifer’s nephew that had been kidnapped was found dead. There has been many allegations behind the murder and if you haven’t already checked out BET.com. Obama

I know this is the moment that several of us Americans have been waiting for, well the moment is finally here. Your wait is over and it’s about time. I want to take a moment to state why I personally love Barack Obama; he knows, understands, and accepts the fact that he is not qualified by some people **hints some people, but he is qualified all together**! He doesn’t fit the character, skin color, or what some think he should. Through it all he stayed strong, bold, and courageous, and for that alone, he has my vote! I do believe that everyone will come together and agree soon that deep down the right choice was made.

I do want to take a second to congradulate McCain on standing up and accepting the outcome of the election. He showed America that this shouldn’t be a race issue…..

    IT'S A CELEBRATION

    IT IS A CELEBRATION

YESSSSSSS WE DID IT AND WE CAN

Looking at the thousands of Americans smiling faces and tears flowing of joy was beautiful! He definitely touches the people…he speaks to everybody no matter age or race.

    McCain’s Concession Speech:

OBAMA WE LOVE YOU, OUR 44TH PRESIDENT, BUT OUR FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT! From WhoGossips? and I, Obama congradulations again and again!

As we all know today is Election Day and I do want to say “Go Vote!” and many celebs have been and still are doing what they can to make sure America gets the change we deserve and need! Black celebs like Jay-Z, Russell Simmons, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Diddy, Jesse Jackson Jr. are some of the few to name. Those listed were in attendance at the Last Chance for Change Rally held at Florida Memorial University to campaign for Barack Obama and get those who are undecided to hopefully make the right decision! Please vote people!

2008 Presidential Candidates MAY THE BEST MAN WIN

2008 Presidential Candidates MAY THE BEST MAN WIN

This is how it supposed to be...

This is how it supposed to be...

Yes I am excited, I think we all are that the day is finally here! Regardless of who you are voting for or your choice in politics; I just pray that we as the people make the right and wise decisions…. **hints:Obama** Go out and vote, please exercise that right! There is nothing like saying that you had something to do with making history and having that right to do something positive for our country. It feels good, at least I know it does to me! My family and I were out early this morning 2 hours before the polls opened and we were number 16, 17, and 18 in the line. When they opened at 6 am we were in and out in 5 minutes. It’s simple, just be patient, no matter the wait it’s worth it!

Also, I want to take the time to say R.I.P. to Obama’s grandmother that passed away yesterday, ironically before this day. Obama you are in our thoughts and I know you won’t be discouraged because you’re strong and always so courageous, but I pray for you and your family!

Obama is in our reach ladies and gentlemen!

And please remember, if you don’t remember anything else, first please go out and vote today and secondly we are one, a unity and don’t forget that! No matter the color of our skin or who our next president is, we should get through together!!!!!!!!!! Regardless your opinion is your opinion, you should not be judged or criticized for your opinion! Have a voice……
